Butterfly Chair, Jorge Ferrari-Hardoy, Knoll International
Butterfly Chair, designed in 1939 by Jorge Hardoy-Ferrari. This chair is one of the best-known icons of 20th century furniture design. The chair is spacious, light weight, and surprisingly comfortable.
The offered piece is a 1950's original from first hand, made by Knoll International. It is made of black painted tubular steel and caramel coloured suede.
The chair is in a good condition. The frame shows some minor paint loss. The leather is still soft, undamaged and bright, and it shows only a few small stains - a very good condition for a chair, which has been in use for around 60 years.
The dimensions: Width 84 cm x height 94 cm x depth 86 cm, seat height ca. 33 cm.
