Dining Suite, Siegfried Mehl
Dining suite, consisting of four Z-chairs and a matching table, designed in 1972 by Siegfried Mehl on the occasion of the 25th anniversity of the GDR. The chairs, which are also called Kangaroo, were produced by Petrochemisches Kombinat Schwedt and were marketed exclusively in East Germany. The design reminds of works by Verner Panton, but also shows a distinct design idiom. As a set with table and arm chair nowadays hard to find!
