Sideboard from the WK-Satik series, designed in 1952 by Georg Satink, manufactured by WK Möbel. Beautiful, harmonically proportioned piece, made of walnut, ash wood, and african pear, which is the original version, as planned by Satink.
Georg Satink was a German architect, interior designer and designer. After his apprenticeship at the school for applied arts in Cologne, he worked as a designer for Deutsche Werkstätten Hellerau (from 1934) and for WK-Verband (after world war II). Satink designed numerous one-of-a-kind interiors, as well as furniture series, and won several international prizes.
